MEET THE MATCHMAKER

Samantha Daniels is the founder of The Dating Lounge and our resident Matchmaker. She has been in the dating and relationship business for over 15 years. She is considered one of the foremost high-end matchmakers and relationship, dating and romance experts in the country.

Her matchmaking company, Samantha's Table, was founded in 1999 and has bicoastal offices in New York and Los Angeles. Samantha's Table caters exclusively to high-profile, busy professionals who are attractive, well educated, well-traveled, cultured and philanthropic, but who are too busy to find that special someone on their own. She has a database of more than 100,000 single people, all of whom are connected to each other through their similar interests and lifestyles. Samantha has helped hundreds of couples get married and thousands of people get into long-lasting relationships. She is known for her uncanny ability to understand who goes well with whom. Prior to becoming a Matchmaker, Samantha was a Matrimonial/Divorce attorney in Philadelphia, PA and New York, NY.

Samantha has appeared on numerous TV shows, including The Today Show, Good Morning America, The Late, Late Show with Craig Ferguson, The Wendy Williams Show, Extra, Access Hollywood, CNBC, CNN, and many others. She has been on numerous talk radio shows, includingThe Adam Carolla Show, The Leeza Gibbons Show and The Ed McMahon Show, to name a few. She has been on a number of reality shows including Selling New York, What Not to Wear, CBNC'sLove at First Byte and VH-1's Hollywood Exes. She has been featured in the New York Times, USA Today, People Magazine, Fortune, Forbes, and many other publications.

She was also the inspiration for and a producer on the NBC/Darren Star dramedy, Miss Match, starring Alicia Silverstone. The show was based on her life story and aired on NBC from 2003 to 2005 and now airs internationally.

Samantha is the author of the book, Matchbook: the Diary of a Modern Day Matchmaker (Simon and Schuster). Matchbook provides a fun, fast voyeuristic look into dating with lessons throughout that is part Sex and the City, part Entourage. She hosts her own internet TV show, Relationship Chatter (www.relationshipchatter.tv) which is seen on 25 portals internationally. She is a Celebrity Curator for Open Sky. She has been a national spokesperson for a number of consumer products, including Oral B, Crest and Febreze. She is also a regular contributor to the Huffington Post, as well as a freelance writer for many other publications.

On a personal note, Samantha lives with her husband and two stepchildren in Tribeca, in downtown Manhattan. Her favorite pastimes these days are social media (of course), traveling, collecting vintage handbags (her girly hobby) and zipping around  to all of the chicest New York events on a Citibike.
